A typical week is made up of three core activites:

Individual Work Time: Using our digital environment and process, you will be able to work through weekly activities that we have laid out to make progress. We can communicate and comment asynchronously, meaning you can work when it's best for you. We expect this to take anywhere from 5-10 hours per week.

Weekly 1:1: This is time set aside for you to meet with the INVANTI team for 30 minutes and talk about progress, where you may be stuck, and the plan for the next week.

Weekly Peer Feedback: Once a week we will get the cohort together (virtually) as a group to share progress, barriers, and questions with each other. We hope that you can all learn from and contribute to other people's progress in the cohort.

Who is it for?

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

What is your track record?

We've helped co-found companies in affordable housing, workforce development, financial health, and more. We've had companies go on to well-respected accelerator programs like TechStars and raise subsequent venture funding, and others choose to bootstrap their businesses.

Do I have to have an idea to apply?

No. We don't require you to have an idea to apply - in fact, we'd much rather you didn't. The process we've built over the last four years, working with dozens of founders, is meant to give you the time and space to thoughtfully explore problems that resonate and systematically iterate on concepts that can solve them. Our goal is quite simple: we want to be your co-founder in creating an impactful business. We believe the best way to do that is to start working together before you have an idea.

What does it cost?

Founders don't pay (in cash or equity) to participate in our Founder Studio cohort. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with future founders, and find concepts that we are mutually excited to start, where our investment and ability to facilitate pilots are attractive to you as a founder.

How many people are in the cohort?

We are aiming for a cohort of 20 individuals.

How does the program work?

We will work with you in a selective, cohort-based model. Our team is hands on in helping you move from pre-idea to pilot, starting with a 3-month intensive program to get to a validated concept. At the end of this 3-month program, you will have the opportunity to be evaluated for a $20k investment from the Beta City Fund. If you haven't gotten to a concept you're excited about, we offer 3 additional months of support to get you to a concept you'd be ready to pursue full time.

How long is the program? Is it full-time? Do I need to move to South Bend?

The official program is 3 months long, with the ability to extend another 3 months depending on progress. It's expected that most people will be part-time and remote - but that's not to say we wouldn't be excited for anyone who wants to be full-time and in South Bend! You don't need to move to South Bend for the program, but should we offer an investment, we would expect you to do a pilot of your concept here.

When would I need to commit to going full-time with the concept you help me create?

We're looking for people who would be ready to leave their jobs and transition into building a company full-time within the next 6-12 months if you are able to get to a concept you are excited about starting and we are excited about funding.

What outcome are you expecting from the program?

Our goal is pretty straightforward: we want to co-create a concept for a scalable venture with you that we can invest in you to go full-time to start. That being said, we know this won't happen for everyone for a multitude of reasons, so it's not expected that everyone will receive an investment offer at the end of the program.Using our digital environment and process, you will be able to work through weekly activities that we have laid out to make progress. We can communicate and comment asynchronously, meaning you can work when it's best for you. We expect this to take anywhere from 5-10 hours per week.
